Skippy-Post Special Offer - Free Book Inventory Listing

Skippy-Post is the new international parcel delivery network for shipping your books overseas reliably, but at low cost, especially now that Australia Post's economy air mail service has been withdrawn.

Skippy-Post is a branded extension of the shipping system used by BiblioQuest International, Australia's leading specialist search service for out-of-print books since 1994.

You can find out more about Skippy-Post by visiting www.skippypost.com.au

As a bookseller, you can qualify for trade rates on Skippy-Post that are even better than the retail rates advertised on the website, up to 60% less than the major alternative air mail option.

You can find the current trade rates and comparison chart at

http://www.skippypost.com.au/current_trade_rates.php?type=T

These rates are firm for October 2006 - no sudden or surprise changes - and Skippy-Post will give one month's advance notice of any increase so you can plan your pricing accordingly.

In addition to low international parcel rates, Skippy-Post has a special "free listing" offer for booksellers who create an account and become customers of the Skippy-Post service.

A Skippy-Post customer for the purposes of this special offer is considered to be a bookseller who has sent (and paid for!) two or more shipments via Skippy-Post - each shipment can contain from 1 to 32 parcels or a maximum of 16kg.

OFFER: WAIVER OF $50 SIGN-UP FEE FOR TRADE BOOKSELLERS

To celebrate the launch of Skippy-Post and encourage its use, we are offering to waive the $50 registration fee to establish an account until 31 October 2006. So act now to create an account and avoid that one-off fee.

WHY ARE WE MAKING THESE OFFERS?

Skippy-Post has had an enthusiastic response from dozens of booksellers. Aside from their amazement at the savings on postage, many are reporting an encouraging increase in international sales as they can now advertise low shipping rates to overseas clients. In the case of BibliOZ and Alibris sales, you can also earn extra shipping discounts from Skippy-Post.

It is in the interests of all the listing services - BibliOZ, Alibris and Biblio - to see their sellers making more international sales. Low postal rates help that to happen and make it more viable to list on multiple services.

Through to December 1, it is a prime time of year for bookselling in the lead-up to Christmas. So make the most of it by offering lower international postage and also maximising the number of sites you are listing on during that period.

Many sites have had major outages recently, and sales have been adversely affected. By being listed on multiple sites, especially during this prime selling season, you reduce the risk of missing out on vital sales.

ACT NOW - HOP TO IT!

So visit Skippy-Post soon at www.skippypost.com.au and apply for an account, if you do not already have one. The quicker you can send the two Skippy-Post shipments, then the sooner you qualify for these special listing offers. And the sooner you can start your international parcel shipping at the extraordinary Skippy-Post trade bookseller rates.

NB. If you have already sent and paid for two Skippy-Post shipments, then let us know which offer you would like to take up.
